Kenneth Edward Krause, 87, Fargo, ND, died on February 10, 2013, in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead. Ken was born December 7, 1925 in Hankinson, ND, to Edward and Hazel (Popp) Krause. He graduated from high school in Hankinson in 1943. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 until 1946. In 1948, Ken married Evelyn Bernard in Hankinson, and together they had three children, Craig, Peggy and Jeff. He attended Wahpeton State School of Science and then graduated from Valley City State Teachers College in 1949 with a degree in Education. He taught and coached in Lidgerwood, ND, until he was recalled to serve in the Navy during the Korean War.
