Mae Foard, 88, Fargo passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at her home. Mae was born November 14, 1924 to Magnus and Ettie (Nelson) Mortenson in Moscow Township, Cavalier County, N.D. Mae graduated from Langdon High School and from Mayville Teacher's College. She taught for several years. In 1944, she married James Foard in Moorhead, MN and they made their home in rural Banner Township, near Starkweather before moving to Fargo in 1972. Mae worked in the Fargo Public School system and for Big Top Bingo.
