Esther Scanson, age 91, of Grace City, ND, died Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford, ND. Esther Pauline Grafsgaard was born on June 29, 1922, the daughter of Alfred and Anna Marie (Pederson) Grafsgaard at McHenry, ND. She was raised and attended country school and graduated High School in McHenry. Esther worked for neighbors during the summers.
