JoAnn C. Brown age 80 of Detroit Lakes, MN died August 18, 2013 at Essentia Health - Oak Crossing in Detroit Lakes. JoAnn Brown was born March 1, 1933 in Ada, MN to Gunnard and Carla Hoeglund Rasmussen. She grew up and attended school in the Ada and Twin Valley area. The family later moved to Detroit Lakes, where JoAnn graduated from High School in 1951. On December 28, 1952 she was united in marriage to Gene E. Brown in Detroit Lakes. They made their home in West Fargo, ND for a short time before moving to Detroit Lakes in 1954.
