Dorothy MaryJane (Meyers) Stewart passed away peacefully on July 31, 2013, at the Heritage Living Center in Park Rapids, MN. surrounded by her loved ones. Dorothy was born in Ironwood, MI, March 2, 1931 to Ludwig and Edna (Pauna) Meyers. At age 5, her family moved to Menahga, MN where she attended Wadena county schools and graduated from Wadena High School in 1950. She lived in Minneapolis, MN for 6 yrs where she worked at First National Bank and Walker Art Center followed by 1 year in Salem, OR working for "The Statesman" newspaper.
