Paul Evert Gray was born in Page, N.D., on Oct. 3, 1936, and died of cancer in Cleburne, Texas, on June 13, 2013, at home with his wife, Helen, and son, Dan. He had lived in Texas for a little over five years after having lived in Alaska for close to 35 years where he had been a logger, fisherman, carpenter, odd job man, tree thinner and ran a small saw mill.
