Berniece Isabelle Holden, 87, of Grand Forks, ND died Saturday, June 15, 2013 in Valley Eldercare Center, Grand Forks. Berniece was born February 26, 1926 in Lake Park, MN, the daughter of Oscar and Mathilda (Marshall) Moen. Berniece moved to Ayr, ND with her family in 1926. She attended Ayr School for eleven and one half years, graduating from Page (ND) High School in 1945. Berniece played on the Ayr Rifles high school girls basketball team that won five State Championships from 1939 - 1944. She also worked with her parents in the Page Hotel and Cafe.
