Larry Vernon Hook, 67, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Home in Arthur, ND. Larry was born on January 15, 1946, in Hannaford, ND, the son of William and Irene Ruby (Nelson) Hook. The family moved to Colfax, ND where Larry spent his childhood and attended school. He was trained as a mechanic in the Wahpeton/Breckenridge area, and then enlisted in the US Navy in 1963. He was an airplane mechanic during the Vietnam Conflict and was honorably discharged on November 19, 1968. Larry returned to North Dakota and married Ruth Masters. He worked as a mechanic, raised rabbits, and was a life-long tinkerer. Larry loved his pets, dogs, family and was very proud of his children.
