Roy C. Erickson was peacefully called home on Monday, March 4, 2013, at the age of eighty-nine. He will be remembered for his kind, gentle nature, his quick-witted humor, inventive and creative mechanical abilities, strong work ethic, and love and loyalty for his family. Roy was born in Velva, ND, on February 15, 1924, to Martin and Minnie Erickson. He grew up with a sister and four brothers, moving to Moorhead, MN, and later to Fertile, MN, where he graduated high school.
