Norman Arvid Nubson, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 12:03 a.m. in Devonshire, the Memory Care Unit of Touchmark at Harwood Groves in Fargo, ND. Norman was born on July 3, 1928 to Nels and Mildred Nubson on a farm near Glenfield, ND, destined to have lifelong North Dakota ties. After moving with his family to Carrington, Norman worked jobs like pumping gas and fixing car tires, at times running the store without adult supervision. Dances on Saturday night were very special. High school graduation in 1947 represented passage into adulthood. From these early experiences, a lifetime commitment to integrity and service was formed.
