Arla K. Fitzner, age 95, of Valley city, ND died on Tuesday Feb. 12, 2013 at the Sheyenne Care Center surrendering to her long, cruel battle with Alzheimers. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 PM Saturday Feb. 16th at Our Savior's Lutheran church in Valley City with Rev. Emmy Isaackson and Rev. Randy Schecht officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 7 PM Friday at the Lerud-Schuldt Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery near Valley City in the spring. She moved with her family to Granite Falls, MN where she graduated from high school.
