Florence M. Korsmo, Fargo, ND, died Monday, January 21, 2013, in Elim Rehab and Care Center, Fargo. Florence Mabel Johnson, one of nine children of Hans Christian and Olida (Ruud) Johnson, was born April 15, 1919, in Osnabrock, ND. She grew up and attended school in Osnabrock. She also attended Augsburg College, Minneapolis, MN, and then Mayville (ND) State Teacher's College. She taught school in Osnabrock, Larimore, ND, and California. She also lived in Washington, DC, where she worked in the Library of Congress.
