Doris "Dorrie" G. Aune, 86, of Lake Park, MN, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013, in Sunnyside Care Center, Lake Park, MN. Doris Grace was born July 20, 1926, in Lake Park, MN, to Oscar and Lena (Kittelson) Handegard. She was baptized and confirmed at Lake Park Lutheran Church. Doris attended school in Lake Park. She married Casper Aune May 27, 1945, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Together they made their home in Lake Park. Doris worked for the Red Owl grocery store, Lake Park Cafe and did bookkeeping for Casper's sanitation business. She was a member of the Lake Park Lutheran Quilting Club. She also enjoyed cross stitching and rosemaling crafts. Doris enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and the children in her neighborhood.
